ImmunoTox

Enhancing Management of Immune-Related Adverse Events

The Société Luxembourgeoise d'Oncologie et d'Hématologie (SLOH) has introduced Immunotox, an electronic platform dedicated to managing immune-related Adverse Events (irAEs).

This resource is designed to support oncologists, general practitioners, and organ specialists with practical, evidence-based recommendations for diagnosing and treating various irAEs. The guidelines provided on Immunotox are the result of a collaborative effort between the SLOH Immuno Task Force and organ specialists, relying on both recent publications and clinical experience.

Our mission

As part of this initiative, SLOH has also established a recurring virtual forum called ImmunoTox. Held every two weeks, this meeting brings together specialists to discuss challenging immunotoxicity cases, including rare adverse events and the use of immunotherapy in patients with underlying autoimmune disorders or organ transplants.

These discussions aim to promote the exchange of knowledge and develop consensus on irAE management. Healthcare professionals are encouraged to participate, either by presenting cases or attending the sessions. Cases can be submitted in advance via email or through the platform.
